Hello? Anyone there? I'm Back?

Not sure anyone really noticed I was gone but I haven't blogged for many days. No real reason, just got busy and then lazy. I did take a few days off and go to visit friends and family. I drove from here to L.A. and then to Santa Barbara and then home again. Loved every minute of it. I can't wait to retire and do it all the time.

Lots of news happened while I wasn't blogging, much of it political but I'm not going to post on that.

I saw this article today. I think it means stop trying to control other people. Let them drink and smoke and overeat because we spend way more money on health care for people who manage to live a long life. Interesting. A companion piece says Las Vegas is the fattest city. So, hey, America, we're saving you money. You should pay us back by coming here and leaving the extra with us.
