Poky

My brother had this Poky Little Puppy picture on a puff piece he wrote and it just reminded my how much I used to love the poky little puppy. He was off enjoying the world and missed dessert. Or fooled his brothers and sisters and ate their dessert. Or something. I'm not sure. I think I have the book somewhere and should go read it. But the picture takes me back to my childhood immediately. When Deb was little I don't think she liked the poky puppy as much as I did. I refused to buy the later editions where like Poky Puppy Rides the Bus or Poky Puppy Gets His PhD. The sequels are never as good as the original.
